Under the supervision and sponsorship of the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Mr. Laïd Rebiga, a historical and touristic conference was held today, highlighting the journey of the Mujahid, diplomat, and statesman Abdelaziz Maoui.
Attendees praised the initiative of the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders for supporting this event. After hearing heartfelt testimonies from those who knew the late figure—whether in his struggle for independence or his efforts in nation-building—a discussion was opened on the role of tourism and the mechanisms for preserving and transmitting memory through historical sites.
The family of the late Abdelaziz Maoui was honored at the event, with hopes of increasing such noble and valuable initiatives.
