This morning, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, the Ministry of Culture and Arts organized an exploratory tour for the delegations participating in the international symposium “Cinema and Memory”, which concluded yesterday, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at the El Aurassi Hotel.
The tour began with a visit to the Great Mosque of Algiers, one of the largest mosques in the world, which blends authenticity and modernity through its architectural design. The delegation received detailed explanations about the symbolic significance of this religious landmark and its special place in the hearts of Algerians.



The next stop was the National Museum of Fine Arts of Algiers in El Hamma. This museum consists of more than 20 halls, each showcasing works by renowned international artists from various artistic schools and techniques. It also houses masterpieces that reflect the heritage and evolution of both Algerian and global art. Visitors explored the museum, located on the heights of the capital, surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery, where they had the opportunity to appreciate the beauty and history of Algeria.
The visit concluded with a stop at the historic landmark and memorial Maqam Echahid, where the guests learned about the spirit of the glorious War of Liberation and the struggles of the Algerian people against French colonization. The delegation then proceeded to the National Museum of the Mujahid, where they toured its various sections and received explanations about the historical stages of the revolution.
